NEW CAMP! - SKATE & SHOOT 20

SKATING AND SHOOTING TOGETHER IN ONE CAMP!

We have added a brand new camp at Center Ice Arena in Delmont, PA!

December is almost here and we are pleased to announce a new camp specifically focusing on skating and shooting and the combination of the two. This camp is for ages 9-12 and will be held on December 11th and december 18th both at 8:40-9:40pm timeslots.

This camp will be hosted by Coach Nick battista and will have two sessions that will be packed with instruction and repetitions for all players. We always focus on skating and edgework as we believe in the old saying “if you cant skate, you cant play”. We believe the focus on improvement in skating and edgework will in turn show results in all other areas of game for players. This is especially true with shooting.

There are so many different options and situations when it comes to shooting that is is important to be a well balanced skater to adjust to any scenario. Our camp will focus on breaking down those shooting scenarios and covering the skating, balance, and technique needed to achieve a strong shot anywhere in the offensive zone.

Both sessions will see a split of skating and shooting in the beginning followed by game situations that apply to the skills being worked on. We will give the players a chance to see from start to finish how improving skating, will help improve the shooting technique, which will then help give the player a better chance of success in a specific real game situation!
