Welcome to the Battista HOckey Alumni page. This page is dedicated to the players who have found success in their hockey careers through hard work, PERSEVERANCE, determination and passion. These players have worked with Coach Nick, allowing him to be a part of the hockey career and growth.

CHAS “UPPER MANAGEMENT” Camp

Chas Camp has worked with Coach Nick throughout the last year both on and off the ice.

CHAS Camp has always been an upper management type of player who strives to be even higher. a 2007 birthyear, Chas has spent his hockey career growing up and developing in the charlotte area, specifically at the pineville ice house. He started with the falcons where he fostered his passion for hockey and he was eventually playing AA for Carolina Premier Hockey. After a few seasons with CPH, he had the opportunity to play AAA for the Junior Canes in Raleigh where he joined the team halfway through the season, offering the spark for both the team and his even greater ASCENSION.

Recently, chas has signed with Shady Side academy in the great city of pittsburgh where he will play hockey for former nhl’er and pittsburgh penguin, eric tangradi. Chas’ family has purchased a winter and summer home in pittsburgh to support his career but will still stay local to the charlotte area and continue to run the pineville ice house with an unbelievably charismatic and professional hockey director who is a part of their staff.

chas’ greatest achievement was placing 2nd in points during the famously annual RWB tournament held at the pineville ice house. He skated with a strong and dense team where he was able to learn a lot from some great players. He got to share the ice with coach nick and really learn what it is like to have multi point games consistently. chas is hoping to be the point leader in this years tournament but will have a tall order to fill after coming in 2nd place last year. Did we mention that chas came in 2nd to coach nick in points last year at the rwb tournament?

Chas will begin training immensely to help prepare for the training camp for shady side held in august. He deserves this great opportunity and will be very successful in this endeavor with both hockey and school. This will set him up for life and to even greater levels of success throughout his professional career. to say we are proud, happy, and excited for him would be an understatement. He is a great player and even better person.

Good luck to chas!
